Every journey begins with a question, but not every question changes your life.

This one does:

Is God calling me?

In this opening lesson, Dr Brendan Roach introduces the heart of the course. The call of God is not distant. It is personal. It is not something reserved for a few special people, and it is not something waiting for a future version of you.

You will begin to see that God’s call has already been forming within you through the burdens, desires, stirrings, and repeated moments that continue to draw you toward His purpose.

This course will help you recognise the call, respond to the call, and begin moving forward with clarity.

• When did you first begin to wonder whether God was calling you?
• What is one burden, desire, or stirring that keeps returning in your life?
• Do you find it easier to believe God calls others than to believe He is calling you?

Before moving to the next lesson, write down this question:

Is God calling me?

Then underneath it, write whatever comes honestly to mind. Do not edit it. Do not try to make it sound spiritual. Simply begin the journey by naming where you are.
