I have learned that our calling differs and we have different spiritual gifts for the benefit of the church. Another key aspect is to know how to hear God’s voice and whatever we do should be in line with God’s main purpose.

Regan’s expounded opening lesson on what is a call was meaningfully taught to even the eventual unit;Called to Go,descriptively arguing on outreaching attractively and not extracting sheep but making disciples who in what in how they hear would go and fish other men until the world ends are served in the Lord’s Original calling amen.
Too,President BRENDAN clearly explained logically how the anointing,heart and abilities zones are interdependently connected in Jesus confession while singling out that the heart is more an undying power unlike the passion which dies as in case of those who respond to God’s Call as a money need or as an investment for personal or a public proportionate property.(Exceedingly exciting).
Finally Kay Dohle’s lesson on whether God communicate to us today and proving that He does continuously whether we responsibly hear or not and worth noting that if God speaks gently we should carefully listen to His voice.

Really,to exhaust my understanding is that this program is inevitably resourceful, empowering,scriptural an appointed God sent powerful hearts,minds,souls and positions strengthening while building fishers of men who will live in the Church Jesus foresaw coming and prayed for (John 17) and here we have come to disciple others amen.

The lecture has demonstrated huge and very important issues to me. I am able to define ministry as service and I have learnt that a call can be general and specific. Obedience to the call is the key to fulfilling ministry. There are unusual callings such as Hosea married a prostitute and John Baptist went into wilderness and started preaching about repentance and people were flocking to him. His diet was honey and locusts. Now I am able to know pitfalls to hearing from God such as being busy and overcrowded thereby failing to listen to God. Finally the kingdom is about king, land and citizens.

Generally this section has really opened me up some realities regarding God’s call on me and the His demand on me to be fruitful in my Ministry through His anointing on me, His ability giving to me and application of passion heart in my Ministry Zone. This has also taught to learn to recognize His voice because God speaks in diverse and different ways to my spirit and at times when God seems silent to me, i should first check to see if am the problem and if not then i just need to keep on doing the right things and get closer to Him (GOD). Perhaps He doesn’t need to direct me further at that moment. This is therefore, a great checks on my relationship with Him.

Besides, this has also taught me to be Kingdom minded by changing my earlier perspective of self into involving community around me thereby using my God’s giving abilities and His gifting in Ministry to promote His Kingdom business.

All the lecturers and the persons in the interview in this section of the course were fantastic and well vast in experience and am blessed of what came out of them.

I have learnt to listen to God

I don’t know where to begin, but this course has taken me down memory lane and brought my entire life before my eyes. I grew up in a very remote community where the only church/denomination was the Roman Catholic Church. We all admired the priests and nuns who came monthly to teach us the Word of God. I remembered someone telling me in my dream I would be like them one day. I dismissed the dream because I did not want to be a priest. I came from the village. My parents were poor. I wanted to go to school and get a profession that would give me enough money to take care of my parents and siblings. While I admired the priests for the work they did, I did not want to be one of them because they were “poor.”

I heard the voice of God, but I did not listen. I pursued education for the sake of getting a well-paid job. I completed high school and enrolled in college the following year, majoring in Biology because I wanted to become a medical doctor. During the third phase of hostilities among the different warring factions during our civil war, all schools came to a close. This was after I had spent two years in college. I became internally displaced in the suburb of the city where the hostilities were not severe. In my newly displaced home where there were fifteen of us sharing a two-bedroom house, I felt a compelling need to start a morning and evening devotion. I was afraid. I did not know the Bible, but the voice kept pushing me. One day I talked to a friend about this, and he said he was thinking the same way. I believe this was a confirmation. We held the first devotion the following morning. Everyone said I should lead the devotion since it was my idea. I can never forget what the Lord did! The devotion grew from five persons on the first morning to eleven persons over four months. The devotion grew into a neighborhood fellowship as other people in the neighborhood started joining us. One of the neighbors offered us her porch which could accommodate about 35 persons, and we started meeting for weekly Bible studies. All of these took six months to unfold. When school re-opened, I was torn between the decision of whether to go back to school or to pursue the work of the ministry. When I considered what God was doing, the hunger and commitment of the people to the Word of God, and the sacrifices they were making to come for Bible studies, I felt guilty about abandoning them to go back to school. I decided to enroll in a Bible training school to be trained as a pastor. This is how I got into ministry and founded the Foundation in Christ Fellowship Church in Liberia. By God’s special grace, we now run three churches and a school that has an enrollment of 267 children.

Why this long narrative? It is in light of the impression this course has left on me, and what I have learned about the call of God. One important truth I learned is that the call of God is consistent. All through the many years since I had the dream, that little voice was always in my ears. His call has quality, spirit, and content. To hear God I needed to listen to Him, which I could not do for many years. I left him out of my plans. Then, I learned that God uses circumstances to clarify His call upon our lives. This course has helped me to take a deeper reflection on God’s dealings with me to accomplish His purpose for my life. I am challenged to abandon myself to Him and serve Him diligently and faithfully.

These teacheing have opened my eyes more to what calling is, how to response to call, how to listen to Gods voice in the word of God, not to start a ministry base on a gift and to plan after receiving a call from God… Hallelujah

This subject has opened up my understanding of God’s call your response a lot of very wonderful teaching advancing my knowledge about God’s word in my life. We learnt what is a call? God’s call as an invitation to partnership , we are to become God8 co Workers , we Works a long side Him. In relationship with him. Fin ourselves only in following God’s call on our purpose is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. What we think our identity and calling is may not be accur6. Rather out who are truly are and what our purpose really is. So how God call us? It could be a vari6 of ways , different for each person , even several different ways for the one person . God’s method are not fixed.
Ministry being for others and Building up the church, it’s nec8 oriented to wards others rather than being a vehicle to serve outselves. Part of that orientation, towards others is to build up God’s people ; the ministry being for the glory of God, our purpose for existence is to glorify God and in that sense all of us are called to mini5. God’s involved in all the details of our lives whatever we do . The kind of picture of ministry present us ministry includes all kinds of activities inside and outside the church on any day of the week. These activities have certains characteristics.
Understanding missi6 is when we get mission from 4 himself, not from church there’s church because there is mission the church is an instrument for mission. God has a mission because He calls us to something, His mission that We are part of.
General & Specific call are because they are things that are mandated to all believers in the scripture. The relationship between general and specific calls, we each have both , but a specific call should never overshadow our general call mandate; then the relationship between calling and timing ,we may receive a call but some waiting may result , or we may have only part of the info at first. This is or and often we gr8 as a result of dealing with this tension. Obedience, Paul said to Philippians and noted the phrase continue to workout your salvation….(Phil.2:12-14).
God’s going to keep working in us so we need to keep responding to that and call is made, clarified and carried out in this context. A8 we need to respond to God’s call , replying on christ is Word and to clinging to it as offering great security than all the securities in the world.
The important about our call is in the context of our relationship with God. The unique aspect of ministry is following God’s call to ministry often doesn’t look like the traditional picture that many people have in their heads. You need to be prepared to do things that some consider not normal. So you have to get the general call right first before the specific call can work properly, you need to immerse yourself first and foremost in being a Jesus followers. We have all been given the ministry of reconciliation which is very important, and this must come through in all that we do in ministry. The equation being a Christian =Being a disciple= Being a disciple Maker. And the end goal of a disciple is to be like Jesus , to do what He did , to teach what He tau8.
Allowing Scripture to define,& dire6 it indicates that we each have a place is what God is constructing and bringing to be. We each have a part to pl5 in what God is doing.
The three things can help us allow scripture to define and direct : Have 3 favourite guiding verses, meditate on scripture, study scripture.
A historical look at ministry with distinction the value of calling to clergy and calling to other services continued for many centuries, the reformers called people back to the authority of scripture and found there no basis for this kind of thinking.
Church based ministry mention of the Levites, their role was to minister to the people of God and in their place of gathering; the church should be to equipe people, to do two things , Minister & care each other , understand & fulfill their part in the mission of God.
Market place Ministry we are recommended to draw attention to God by our deeds which should be seen by others in the world. So the market place is an excellent example of where this can take place. About market place Ministry Paul’s said in Colossians 3:23-24 that in these very he encourages beli8 to glo8 God in their roles, no matter what their status or position in society. Communities Based Ministry as part of our general calling, that social responsibility is a necessary part of being a followers of Jesus. You can have Jesus as Lord and ignore it. In Luke 4:18-19. Jesus himself defined his ministry in terms of reaching out to and helping the marginalised in his community as disciples of Jesus we must do the same. The platform for the call – influence, this is the place of highest responsibility and influence in our calling and also greatest realization, that it’s something that covers all stage to some extent and we are all called to this no matter what our calling and for the shepherd stage, this is a foundation stage where the call is accepted and skills are being developed but we don’t yet have platform of the later roles.
Unusual calling about these 3 weird calling from the Bible , God doesn’t always follow the formula don’t rule it out just because it’s weird.
Ministry zone 1 encourages us to focus are we producing fruit, there are food ground: spran8 up , increased, produced fruit. In parable of the sower, this is a miraculous yuld than couldn’t be achieved by natural means. In heart zone , often our choices are strongly influenced by our need to provide for families or acquire resources. If you take this away y9 may 6 left with a clear picture of what you passion is.
The anointing zone , we need to distinguish anoi6 from what we36 like to do, in abil6 you need to identify what your Nate abilities are and work hard on developing and practicing them. We are aiming for an area of interdependant fruitfulness bring the three zone together and producing the miraculous 100 fold.
Minister in your anointing develop your abilities, like your dreams – keep your heart soft. The emotional rollercoaster is when your heart is not in your ministry this c6 lead to the emotional rollercoaster which in turn can result in the cases a8 strain of that ministry choking you metaphorically speaking, Grace zone this is where your snow meets your abilities and you heart in the one plan, and 100 fold fruitfulness is the results. Hearings the voice of God, God is speaking to you and me the questions is more importantly whether 6 not we are listening. He desire to communicate with us, God by his very nature wants relationship with us and relationship requ8 communication. God must certainly communicate with us often. Recognizing voice of God, John 10:2-4: that we. like sheep learn to recognise our shepherd ‘s voice over time, that is by experience. How to hear the voice of God, we need to exercise various spiritual disciplines such as reading scripture, prayer, speaking in tongues and fasting to help us hear God’s voice.
Involving God in your deck in sleeping with Hagar, Abraham was trying to fulfill the promise of God made to him about having descendants, but he made that dec6 without consulting God 6 it wasn’t what GOD had in mind , and the rest were neg6. So God’s calling on our life is not only about what God wants us to do but also about who He wants us to be.
A Kingdom perspective, we are each part of the body of Christ and God’s people Living together before God. The Kingdom means, God’s dream society on earth, encompassing the whole world – God’s will being done on earth.

when my wife get sick I tried to pray and she get healed

Embarking on the journey of responding to God’s call has been both exhilarating and humbling—a sacred adventure filled with moments of clarity, challenge, and transformation. In the stillness of prayer and the whispers of the heart, I’ve heard the gentle prompting of God’s voice, beckoning me to step out in faith and obedience.

What sets this journey apart is the profound sense of purpose and fulfilment that accompanies each step taken in response to God’s call. Whether it’s a call to serve, to love, or to surrender, I’ve discovered that saying “yes” to God’s invitation opens doors to unimaginable blessings and opportunities for growth.
Answering the Divine Invitation is not just a one-time decision—it’s a lifelong commitment—a journey of surrender and obedience that leads to the abundant life God promises to those who follow Him wholeheartedly. I am grateful for the opportunity to walk this path of faith, and I eagerly anticipate the adventures that lie ahead as I continue to respond to God’s call with a willing and open heart.

It was in may 2011 when my wife got sick, by then I was not attending any Church services, so during the night I dream like am praying to the sick wife and get healed at the same sport and then wake up, after some days when I saw my wife is still suffering I tried to pray and she get healed within few days for there I started praising the Lord.

I have realize how sensitive it is to be in other to pick up God’s voice through your Spirit.

I also learned on the different ways God calls us in serving him and his people.
Whether as a minister or in the market place, serving him whenever we are placed.
Different ways that God uses to call us and how to listen to the voice.

Praise Jesus! It is my humble opinion to take this opportunity to share with anyone who will read this just how grateful I am and happy to have come across axx ministry and their online study program. It was after a long time of prayers to God to lead and direct my life, which He faithfully did and, is still doing this very moment. I shared with the man of God which God has put in my life that I was completely certain that God has called me into biblical counselling and therefore I needed to take up a certification cause for this in order to be thoroughly equipped, gain in depth knowledge, and also to adhere to the laws of the land. And I was just so blessed at how this fell in place so quickly after such a long time of waiting on God. On the day I was made aware of the axx, I immediately checked out the courses offered and when I saw Biblical Leadership, I immediately knew this was it especially given that this is the field I’ve been on even before I knew God.

With that background, I want to confess that the unit “God’s call your response” has tremendously helped me to piece together several things, the trainers has “directly” spoken to me on several occasions and I simply cannot fail to mention how God works in ways that we as human cannot tell. It is truly confirmation after another that I’m in the right place at the right time with the right people doing the right thing, and if this has worked this way for me, I can only imagine how God in His own wisdom is doing the same in the lives of many.

Lastly, I want to send my gratitude to this ministry for this invaluable opportunity that you’ve given me, and many other people who normally would not afford such a course! This course has definitely equipped me with the knowledge needed to effectively accomplish my mission work. It challenged me to think deeper about my decision to do God’s work. The teachings/lectures made my heart and soul long and desire for God and His work even more. There is such rich teaching in each session and the instructors were very engaging. The materials and concepts presented were very current, useful and relevant. Each instructor gave an excellent overview and presentation of the bible that made perfect sense. I feel I have gained the confidence I need to teach others about the importance of God’s call and our response to His call. I, particularly, loved the lessons on Hearing the Voice of God, Recognizing the Voice of God etc. It was absolutely comforting and reassuring to know that we are God’s children, He wants a relationship with us and always communicates with us. It was also interesting to learn about aligning our intentions/purpose/plan with God’s will to experience greater fulfilment and spiritual growth.
The course was, definitely, well organized and logically structured. All the instructors were experts in the subject matter. They clearly and convincingly communicated all the important concepts. The quizzes were very relevant and beneficial – They definitely enhanced my understanding. My desire to do God’s work has significantly increased and I am beyond elated for taking this course that has enormously increased my knowledge. Overall, I will highly recommend this course to all pastors.

When God called me it took time before I realized.Its after I aligned myself to listen to His call that God started guiding me.I started going to church got saved later participating in worship experience every second Sunday of the month and reading the Bible regularly,praying daily ,sacrificing my time for God ,fasting that I met axx on on Facebook posted by a Kenyan pastor that I took step to enroll .later on God has confirmed to me that I’m on the right track through visions and dream.All of them are proving positive progress.

I related well with this topic because my calling was prophetic and like Samuel, I heard a voice at night and responded and today I am a minister of the Gospel.

It is a great blessing for me as I complete this course.

This course has helped me pay careful attention to every little detail of the call of God over my life.

I learned that God’s voice doesn’t put us under tention or in hurry when he speaks to us, but it gives us a peace of mind.

Firstly, I want to appreciate God Almighty who in His timing perfects His course upon His people.
My testimony goes like this, I noticed a call of God upon my life for more than seven years now but I have been giving excuses of what I needed to do before I could attend to the call. Secondly, I wasn’t certain it was God considering the manners with which the voices come. Thirdly, I never knew that opportunity such as this exist. Now, when I made up my mind to answer the call against all odds,He opened up this opportunity clearing every doubt and confusion. Now every lesson speaks to me directly, returning me to peace and stability of mind.
All thanks to AXX ministry and Instructors God has used. To God alone be praised.

The key learning points from the topic which really helped me in the understanding of my calling are as follows:
-ministry is service, is for God’s glory, is for others, is for building the church, is for the purpose of the great commission
-3 forms of ministry are church ministry, market place/work ministry, community ministry
-one of the best criteria to understand what God has called me to do is whether I am producing fruit.
-I was blessed by the teaching on the 3 ministry zones namely anointing, heart and ability. It’s my first time to hear about this revelation. This was well explained
-gifting is not equal to my calling, though it may help point to my calling which quite often encompasses other important areas that God wants me to focus on besides the gifting.

Today, i am a changed person since i underwent this training. it has made me realize a number of things namely: God has called me for a purpose that fits in correctly in His bigger plan for the world. I need to take serious consideration of spending time with Him in prayer, in His word and listening to Him speak to me, this will increase intimacy with Him and in turn help me learn my gifts, call and His plans for my life. Aligning in His plans is a new revelation today and it humbles me to go back and change my ways of seeing Him and believing in Him in a different manner, in a manner that will actually develop my intimate relationship with Him. Indeed i am grateful.

‘-God is personal, He speak to a individual
– His calls are biblical based
_ God is always speaking to people but if we wish to hear Him we should – Walk with him. – listen attentively – pray and meditate
He speaks to our Spirit to obey not our minds to argue also aline with scripture
_we should be careful about the source of information which comes from different angles – divine – demonic and self/ others.
If we want to hear from God we have: (1) be still (2) desire to hear (3) recognize how He speak (4) have sensitivity to His presence (5) involve God in all we do ( 6) deal with sin

This has been a life changing module for me. Understanding the voice of God and how God speaks to us as individuals. At the core of it all been made to know and understand that God’s call is not an event, but rather a journey with God.

Hearing God’s call on not hearing depends on one condition of ear and what you hear depend on spiritual attitude.

I come to understand that the Call of God it self is very clear, ‘Whether l hear God’s Call or not depends on the condition of my ears, and exactly what I hear that it depends upon my spiritual attitude. ‘I need to hear the Lord as it is written in lsaiah 6:8.like ‘A about Definition ”An invitation to partnership/for we are co-workers in God’s field, God’s building (1 Cor:3:9).my Axx Bible College family this is very much, a very big Blessing 🙌 for the our Ministries in Namibia Church. It’s still very important to hear God at a personal level as opposed to hearing from others. God wants a personal relationship, and would love to speak directly to me the things that concern my life. From this lecture unit, has helped firm up my resolve to hear God and be sensitive to His call.

I learned a lot in this course and it’s helped me to make a difference between the voice of God and the voice of the devil and it’s really lifted up my faith and encouraging me to follow the will of God and to pray and fasting and also to involve God in everythings I do in all decisions I make God must be number one in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth

This course has reminded me that I have a call. This call is an answer to the prayer that states “your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as its in heaven”. I must not take lightly my call, I must not simply look at it with the eyes that the world sees it in a narrow way. its a divine assignment for the season and the location that i am in, its a unique adventure that God call me to, while its unique to me, it is implemented in a context where there are other players and stakeholders with a vast variety of gifts talents and abilities. knitted within my call is a need to grow my mind and my capacity to fit and operate within a society that promotes the welfare of the Kingdom and its citizens.

I have learn so much on this course, God’s call your response through the holy spirit I have gain lot of knowledge on this particular course. I will use the knowledge to expand God’s word in my community and everywhere that iam able. Knowing how to identify the call of God, general and specific call, understanding missions, allowing Scriptures to define, places of ministry, weird calling, ministry zone, hearing the voice of God, gifts and calling and call to go has taught me alot . God at different times have been calling people into partnership with him in the project of building a society characterised and embodied by his will. Again our spiritual attitude determines whether or not we hear from God.

The church has become a vehicle with which this great commission is conveyed. This commission is either a general one or a specific call but the ultimate point centres around God and others. Our closeness to the one who calls goes a long way to determine how we succeed or fail in the movement. Hence trust and obedience will make a discipline an instrument of navigation and a shining light to the world.
Its proven that theres no separation between the circular and sacred ministry as was painted during the Constantine era.
Ministry could be expressed in the following forms.
1. Church based ministry.
2. Market based ministry where the follower take the mission of God with them into their occupation and vocations. Colossians 3: 23-24.
3. Community based which involved checking up on others and assisting in their growth and welfare.
A case study of the life of king David revealed different satges and platforms of God’s call.
*As a shepherd
* The king’s armour bearer.
* A worshipper.
* A king.
Theres is also a revelation of of some biblical characters who responded to very unusual call. The likes of John the Baptist, Ezekiel and Hosea “the prophet of love”.
But in all, the ultimate idea and purpose centers around God, for the people and to the glory of God.
Brendan Roach demystify the different zones of ministry using a model principle of the seed sower. Matthew 13: 1-23. Pointing to the grand purpose of God’s call which is to bear friuts . That if a follower must bear friuts, then total dependent upon the master is required in addition to developing our God’s given abilities and having passion for the call.
The conclusion is that if we must hear from God, theres must be a relationship between us and God. Then the desire to hear from him . We have to be still and listen and be ready to learn to recognize how God speaks. Then in our planing we should fail to involve God and the we have to do away with sin.
Our talents maybe helpful in responding to God’s call but we need to understand that talents or gifts are not call. They only work in concert with the whole body. Romans 12: 4-6

as a matter fact, the Biblical Leadership course is very interesting one for I am being able to learn new things in middle of what I have already known about God Himself. I am so impressed with these three instructors (teachers): Sir Brendan Roach, Brother Regan Perry and Madam Kay Dohle. They are absolutely incredible teachers who know the scriptures and are able to transmit the God´s knowledge properly.

I have to confess that so many things I had doubt before, it has been clearly responded here. I feel such an spiritual athmosphere while you guys teach and I can assure you that the presence of God is so real in AXX.

I am more familiar with the call of God, the Ministry, the Marketplace Ministry, the Platforms for Call, the Ministry Zones, How to hear the voice of God, the Kingdom Perspective and so on. How blessed I am! My God, this has absolutely been a fantastic journey so far.

So, I have established high expectations for this course and in this first God´s Call Your Response chapter, I have already seen my expectations reaching high levels. Mr. Regan Perry talked about Kingdom of God and how the jews created the high expectation of establishment of that Kingdom on earth. They thought that it would be a physical kingdom, where it could have a land, a king (who is the Ruler) and people could live peacefully. I loved a lot when it was explained that the Kingdom of God is reffered to UBANTU which means “a person is a person through other people”. Kingdom of God is a society of God´s people where there is love, cares for people, justice, peace, wisdom, a kingdom which cares about the future.

I have also learned that whether I hear God´s call or not, it depends on the condition of my ears and exactly what I hear depends on my spiritual attitude. We must have spiritual ability to hear the voice of God and our spiritual ears will determine our ability to hear the voice of God clearly. It depends also on the relationship of the person to God.

So I have to put in practice all these spiritual tools in proper way to develop the experience I already have with God. Like what Mrs. Kay explained in the section of How to hear the voice of God, like being still, listen, desire to hear and wllingness to obey and avoiding sin. It was confirmed that God speaks in several ways and we have in the Bible an animal (Camel) that spoke to a Prophet Balaam. (Numbers 22).

I have the experience of sensing the voice of God and each time God confirms me my call through dreams, the Bible verses and even men of God make revelations of what I already know about the call of God in my life. All I need is to envolve myself deeply in relationship with God because sometimes I lose the Focus and I get distracted, that´s why I ask for your help in prayers.

God has revealed me great things about the Throne of David and I have been sensing strongly the call of God. And for this reason I go through a lot and I face a lot of challenges in life which are signs of how big is my call.

Mr. Brendan Roach talked about the Ministry Zones where he emphasizes the different folds: 30 folds, 60 folds and 100 folds. I am sure how God has anointed me and what abilities He has given me but I have strongly work on the Heart Zone. I have been declaring what God anointed me to do and what He has called me to do. I have been working strongly in developing the skills God put in me and I feel really inspired when I use my abilities and I use them in a happy way. One of my skills are the gift of Word, gift of revelation, gift of knowledge, gift of speaking in tongues, gift of variety of tongues, gift of dream… The Heart Zones, as explained by Pastor Brendan, is something that comes to someone over, over and over again. The Heart Zone enables us to overcome the obstacles and it needs to remain soft towards God and towards other people. The heart zone is where the passion, dreams and the vision live and it is the place of abundance.

So my prayer to God is that I may operate on 100 folds and it is a big challenge for me to fight very hard in faith and in deep relationship with God, so that I can experiment the miracles, signs and wonders of God and from God.

I am just sorry for the lack of a good internet which is troubling me a lot here but thank God I am listening to all videos as directed by AXX.

This course helped more to have a better understanding of God’s call in my life. I was able to narrow down my focus to align my will with God’s perfect will for my life. It has been a thing of great joy having to discover what God actually wants me to do in being of impact on earth, rather than just chasing after money and fame. I was able to redefine my God’s purpose for my life as I learnt to hear, understand and obey His voice.

Hearing from God is essential to be successful in the Ministry. This course is so an excellent one to get us intimate with the call of God and to know His will

Although I already knew my call I realized that I was lacking in some aspects. I have learned that I could not guide someone who is new. But now through this teachings I can and I have learned a lot. I have learned how to hear from God how to quieten the noise in the inside of me and listen to God. How to build a relationship with God spend time with him. I have realized find call by having an intimate relationship with God then the call will come to us. I have learned how to find out the calling your life. It is what makes you angry it is also what you love, what gives you joy and what other people are saying. It is also that which is heartfelt. If we ask why God has gift us a certain this can help us find out exactly what our call is because although a gift is not a call a gift facilitates a call. I also learned how to recognize the voice of God the book of John 10:10 says my sheep knows my voice so we should as well know the voice of God.Go”s voice line up with His word. There is also life and power in His voice. God speaks to our spirits and when He speaks is not a discussion nor an argument but peace. There are there different voices that comes to us: There is the voice of God, our voices and demonic voice. When is self you will need you will need to convince yourself while demonic voice rushes you, brings confusion, anxiety and does not build. I have learned how to hear His voice thanks to this course.

Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord God.
It happened in a meeting where the voice said to me. The plan that I gave you for the church is not for this people. It’s for you, don’t force it on this people.
It was in the beginning of July 2013.I just keep it for myself From that very next Sunday I stay at home.I told no one about it.
From the next Sunday we (my wife and I) arquie,,,why I’m not going to church. I told the board that I can’t go on further and resigned.
Every Sunday morning after our difference I fall on my knees and pray deeply unhappy,,but I couldn’t find what I was looking for.
That learned me a lesson to be at peace with everyone especially with my wife when I pray.
The voice were gone, until the first Sunday in December 2013.That Sunday morning for the first time in months I walked my wife to the door.That morning I didn’t fall on my knees, but just go back and sat on the bench between the guitar and the small keyboard.
The voice was back and said,,start with what you have.
I asked deep in my heart, who must play the guitar and keyboard. The answer was,,Elize that’s my wife. I didn’t tell her, but that morning something happened to her in church and joined me the next Sunday.
We pray for the last 3Sundays of December 2013 .
At the end of 2013,we start our church on our knees.
The 4th of January 2014 The Lord saved two homeless people.
She just takes the keyboard and plays.
Nobody learned her to play
It must be The Lord.
Yes indeed.

I should avoid distractions to be able to hear God well

Am blessed and I am learning a lot, my testimony is that yesterday i learned about hearing the voice of God during night I began to see revelation and hear from God.

Praise God sincerely these lessons have changed my understanding and as well preaching in the gospel. Topics like general and specific call have enlightened me, ministry zone, gifts and calling. This last topic, called Go indeed this is true to let people also exercise what God called them to do around their community. Thank you axx for accepting teaching us, who could have done it to me?. I would have contributed towards this ministry I pray God to provide for me because many pastors in Uganda need these lessons. All this week I have been praying for people but teaching them what I have learnt from these lessons.

the journey of calling is beyond and I can’t explain everything I’ve learned in this short period of time I was glued to the lectures and so must light and wisdom with many words of assurance, I saw I am not far from the kingdom of God the way I thought. more enlightenment I can attest since I started following and learning after the teachings and the guidance of the leadership in the house. a well please to say, I never correctly followed as a disciple to Jesus because I looked at the disciple of Jesus and myself and I could point profound differences though I am serving the lord. it is indeed a serious issue that we are facing as Christians to truly come in the knowledge of Jesus not just to come and also to experience him. christianity is not self-serving, it should not focus on the self and it will never be about the self. Jesus, was a community master, and though he was denied the work couldn’t be denied, just like Regan said our light must shine. a call is a journey uncovered in time and discovered in service. service is the best tool to discover your calling while looking at yourself from the perspective of the ground and the seed. we are meant to be fruitful in ministry, unless we are then we are not doing what we suppose to be. Grace zone is bringing together the ministry of the heart, ability, and anointing. I believe that now I become that living stone. where the voice of God will find ground without so much in the heart that will create doubt.

it is still a journey which am enjoying and am intending to stay until Christ is birthed in me.

I have learned about various spiritual disciplines , how to hear the voice of God, how to process the call of God, and what Ministry is all about. I recommend Axx to every believer.

I would love to thank the Axx for blessing with this course. It has exposed slot of things that happens in my church specific.

It has answered my question about zero growth in the church, we lacke understanding for God’s calling, no general calling or specific calling.

No evangelism, no able leadership basically we go to church they open a scripture they read it and preach for few minutes and we go home.

The studies has helped me understand that first we must understand general calling and specific calling, need to understand to hear the voice of God.

With the course it made me afraid or confused because they won’t take what I have learned, it will be a new thing and challenging to except.

In this course on God’s call your response.
I have learned that the call of God in our lives can be in extraordinary ways, but it can be discerned quietly and it is an invitation for partnership.
I also comprehend more about the general and specific calls which involve more personal discipleship, evangelism, and worship for the general call as the specific call does not come with a complete set of detailed instructions to us.
I also now know that community-based ministry specifically in the area of social responsibility is in the Bible when I read Isaiah 58:6-7 and Isaiah 61 which speaks clearly about ” proclaiming the good news to the poor and proclaim freedom to the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind and set the free the oppressed and the year of the Lord’s favor.

The community-based ministry where we neglected the hungry, thirsty, Nakedness, homeless, sick, and displaced persons, and I am thankful for this session because I was able to discover that these are ministries that need our attention very much, and I would ask my brethren to not neglect rather prioritized them in our different ministries.

I also learn that community-based ministry gives us the ability to meet physical and spiritual needs.

On hearing God’s call, I understand that God does not speak to everyone in the same way but rather in ways we can understand and we need to listen attentively as we walk with the Lord. This will help us recognize the various ways He speaks to us.
The danger however comes when we are so deep into the world and neglect to spend time in prayer and meditation that the result will be to block us not to develop a familiarity with God’s voice and this makes us disoriented to Him and not hear Him.

During My Study of the Call, I realized that God is still speaking to us and its important to hear and recognize His voice. God wants us to communicate with Him through worship, prayer etc. since in any relationship communication is key. He can speak through Angels, Visions, Dreams, Miracles, Prophets even scriptures. So its upon us to recognize His voice when he speaks and this i learnt that i can recognize His voice over time, Because there are three sources of information that is the
1. Divine
2. Demonic
3. Self/Others
So we need to have that desire and willingness to obey.

Amen my response to God’s call I responded on the call by not waiting I said yes to God Here I am use me to do God’s will.I remember when I was still outside in the world far from God I was drinking alcohol smoking.I had a dream a Gospel song playing a very nice song I loved are you not scared of me surrender all the world things come to me.The following day I went to a shop to by a evangelism challenge me to come to the and pray for me yes I went to church I found out this is the place I must be. I am no 16years in the house of God Alcohol smoking free I dont drink smoking God rescued me Amen

I have discovered anointing in my life and how it works. I now know the abilities i have in me through the knowledge that i received here at Axx bible college. I love doing what am called for. I now differentiate between my voice, satan’s voice and the voice of the holy spirit. I now able to recognize the voice of God and i know the more you read and study the word of God you can hear him speaking to you. I want to thank all the lectures that taught me so far am revived and equipped for ministry.

This has really help in understanding calling, how to differentiate between what i want to do and what God want me todo, between ambition and Vision.
it also broaden my spirit man in hearing the voice of God more.

What a revelation I got.Knowing that there are 3 voices that speaks in me.Gods voice,myself and the devil.All I need to do is to listen very carefully who is speaking.Gods voice is always calm and steady,myself always convincing me that m doing the right thing.yetthe devil is harsh and brings confusion and stress.

Understanding that we are called by God and not by ourselves is fundamental in fulfilling our destiny and the purpose of our life’s. In fulfilling this purpose and answering God’s call, our activities and dreams must be subsumed in the overcall of the Lord and not focus on individual gains or desires. In essence, our call must align with the overall plan of God to promote His kingdom on earth.

God calls us in different ways and our abilities or skills assist in fully understanding this call. We need to still our heart and reduces surrounding notices to be able to hear the call clearly.

Whatever the call, it must be able to contribute to the bigger picture of what God wants

The teaching has given answer to very tough questions that I had, it wasKimani validated by my interactions with other people. I clearly heard the STILL VOICE.

Once i receive the call from God I have to respond. when we are in the darkness that is the time God will call us and many times we fail to hear the voice of God since there is lots of voices and we fail to recognise the voice of God and hear the voice that is not his.
god has called me many times in various ways but i failed to respond so now the time has come to follow God’s call and listen to what God is telling me.

Its not easy to realize God’s Call and its gifts its mystery to me so God help me its my prayer.

I am honoured taking this course because it paint a bigger picture into knowing Gods call and eagerly prescised on what he may be calling me into. Also i happy to know that it is not about us but every thing is centered around God and his Will for us . I had the call of God many years back .. this picture of the call came as a sign in my dream calling me to serve but it was never clear until i kept going closer to God and hearing his voice and by the comfirmations of scriptures and prophetic words giving to me by other prophets…..

i never saw the call of God in our lives form a very important aspect.but through the lectures l have a better understanding about God call,gift and hearing from him.

I want to thank God to have connected me to Axx college.l have learned on God’s call.how to hear God, different types of voices.l have also learned on the relationship between the call and gifts.l have deepened my understanding on the kingdom of God and his will on Planet Earth.

When I hear about the last session about the perspective of the kingdom of God. All the previous topics that had been discussed was sum up of this perspective. I mean why do I am called is because God has a purpose and that purpose is for His Kingdom meaning because He called me to serve His purpose and that is to expand or advance His Kingdom here on earth. 11)The five fold ministry is for growth and equipping the saints(Eph4:11-13)
12)ministry within is to train the saint to care for each other and understanding to fulfill the mission of God(soul winning)

For me it’s not really one particular part but the whole course on Gods call your Response. I strongly testify that I am blessed by the study I have had. It has helped me to know really what is a call. I have been struggling to plant a church and was beginning to doubt if I heard God correctly. This study has helped me to confidently know that He is with me. I may not see the results right now but I delight in doing what He has called me for. God started using in 1999 I was 7 years by then when I started hearing the voice of God and the force of the Holy Spirit that would take me to somebody and begin to Preach to them and miracles,signs and wonders would take place that’s when I began to see that God called me,My mother was a traditional healer and she sent me to church were I grew.

In terms of spiritual growth i have learnt God’s call depends on ones availability and acceptance to the role since determination helps in more focus to hearing God’s voice. Therefore AXX has helped me understand more on God’s call to my response, through realising that all plans are in my mind and my heart but only God direct or has the last answer to my life.

This course is really an eye opener to me, for years i had been taken the enemy’s voice to be that of God. That voice sounds louder and forceful and i will conclude that I have heard the Lord louder and clearer.

The unit opens my understanding to God’s call and how to respond to it. I also learned the differences between gifts and call. Ministry being service and areas I can service. I learned about Church based service, work or market based service and community based service and aligning myself with God’s purpose. I now see call and ministry much better. I pray that God will help me to align myself to his will.

I have learnt a lot in this unit about God’s call,have learnt the true meaning of discipleship which is to truly follow Christ as Lord or an apprentice and that am not just called to be a disciple but also a disciple maker.I now understand that there is a general call which is for everyone like witnessing and also a specific calling.
Have learnt how to allow Scripture to define and direct my calling,the different aspects of Ministry like church Ministry which is service in the church,Ministry within the church which is about bearing each others burden and doing good to those of the household of Faith.Market place ministry which involves taking the Mission of Christ to our day to day activities in the Market place where men can see our Good works and be drawn to God as we serve as unto the Lord.
Learnt that my calling is unique,it to people and involves my voice,I know that one has to not only have an anointing but must also have a heart for those you are called to minister to by identifying your gifts and abilities which you must develop for that anointing to be effective.
Was so blessed by the unit of hearing God’s voice,I now know that although God speaks in a variety of ways, he is personal and for me to hear his voice i must desire to hear him and also be willing to obey.I have also learnt that God’s kingdom perspective is not about me,its interconnected and is concerned with caring about those around us in a way that embodies the will of God.

In this coarse l have learned a lot but a lot about God’s call. l used to think ministry is only about standing in front of a pulpit and preaching but through this coarse l have learned that its ministry is a service we offer to God according to our call and lso l learned that Ministry is not for my personal goals but rather (1) God’s glory (2) helping other people (3) Building God’s church. My life has been at a point of transition that I had to define my next step in ministry. Studying this course of God’s call you response was such a helping tool to the point that I could pause to ask myself questions on what exactly God was speaking to me. Timely interpretation of signs in my life that could help me interpret the voice and call of God on my life. I can say that I’m now intensely seeking God for direction to make an informed decision on the call of God in my life on matters full time ministry.

This session has transformed my thinking about the call of God and how I need to respond.
I have been challenged to rethink my Christianity and how I align my actions and response to God’s call.
Going forward, by the grace of God through prayer, meditation and action I will not neglect my general and specific calling as both are important in my response to God’s call. Previously, there times when I ocassionally neglected either the general or specific calls as I wanted to avoid conflict. But this has been clarified. I thank God for this enriching growth on my journey as an effective follower of Jesus Christ.

Wow I learnt that when God speaks to us he speaks in a gentle way. God often speaks when we are away from all the noise that is presented by our day to day life. When we draw close to him and when we are still he will speak to us

I enjoyed these sessions so much. God’s call your response really challenged me in that I should focus my heart on God’s will and purpose. This session also confirmed and cemented so much that I already knew God was saying to me. I am also now reassured that I indeed did hear God speaking to me and that I don’t have to doubt when He does because He speaks and calls us in different ways. There is no formula or one way that God speaks or calls, as long as we experience the peace of God and recognize His voice and follow His leading we will walk in His Will for our lives.

God’s call is His will for us and for the Earth. A good understanding of God’s will on earth help us to understand God’s call for us and how we ought to respond.

This wonderful course gives a clearer view of what God’s call for us is and we should respond. We constantly need to hear and follow God’s voice and also do His will.

One of the many things that I learned about salvation is how I am to respond to the calling of God, How to hear the voice of God and how to differentiate between his voice and that of the enemy. I am proud to say that the lessons have opened my heart, my mind and my eyes. Now I know that it is not just about me, but it is also about my society, the kingdom of God and his will. I had too many unanswered questions about salvation before taking these lessons, but I would like to thank the team of teachers, for dedicating their time in teaching the word of God. After hearing the teachings one has but one thing to do, to go and let others know about God’s salvation, His call and how we ought to respond to his calling. May you be richly blessed.

Thank you for giving the Truth in the teaching. First time I have heard the truth about the 30, 60 and 100 fold. I grew up listening to prosperity teachers misleading the Word.

In the course of this study God really open my eyes in the different dimensions to hear from God and answer him when ever he chooses for his work on Earth, and assurance covers you when ever you respond to the call of God without delay, glory to God in the highest.

As a lead pastor of Emunah Ministries-Uganda, I had a challenge with listening to God’s voice but thanks to Axx. God bless you as a team. The primary and most aspects of God’s call is the call to Himself. The call is always about him. God is jealous about us. And it will be about us orienting or re-orienting in the direction of him or who he is.
So there will be a direction to our call and little having orientation about it.
The way we know if it the or a call it if it is about him.
Tthe secondary calling is our specific outworking of his call. Calling is not just a mission statement that we put upon wall that sometimes inspires us. A calling is something we are asked to do. When God calls us, he is not just that he is saying something to make us feel inspire. he is actually asking something of us. So there is going to be a response and an action to it.
Two aspects of God’s call:
-It’s about him
– It involve some sort of response.
The call of God is mysterious and it is really hard to describe.
* To Isaiah it is a booming voice from the sky
*To John it might habe been a voice while he was on the island of Patmos.
* To moses, it was a burning bush.
* To others it might have been a still small voice.
-It is a little bit undefinable.
Therefore the call of God will come in a way that we can hear and hear it so clearly and then interprete it and act it out that we would be surer of that than some of the material things in our lives that we can see, touch and taste.
There is nothing surer than the call of God. It is constant.
The call of God is going to come to us loosing ourselves. That is, if I have the call of God and if I understand when God speaks, there is an obligation to obedience in that speaking, then am I going to loose who I am? and am I going not to be able to do what am always want to do?
-God does call us to “be ourselves” and “do what we are”.
-But we are only “ourselves” and can only “do what we are” when we follow God’s call.

I am enjoying the journey here as I am really growing in knowledge and spirit.
This section has really enlightened me in a lot of aspects, from knowing what a call is, a ministry and the mission. understanding your call in God’s Kingdom is very important. For me when we are God it is really important to obey Him, He wants His people to OBEY. I came to understand that ministry is not only in church and for people in church but we need to represent and talk about Christ everywhere.
In hearing God’s voice, sometimes people ignore the voice of God because they want to prioritize their wants, which in turn can be not want God wants about us. So, it is important to hear God speak to us, and let HIs will be done not our will….remember it is never about us but it’s about Him who called us. It is also important to stay aligned with God and always seek Him so to have a concrete relationship in Him/with Him. Also for the purpose of hearing Him when He speaks to us.

This place tough me how to response to God call and basically how to understand his voice

Hallo my dear people of God I have gone through some lessons in this section of study and I have seen changes in my thinking and understanding.
When I started I was nevous but the way I went on to answer some more, it occurred to me that I was moving somehow and my understanding of God calling became very clear to me.
I have my weaknesses and I needed something that would bring my understanding to realize my call. I have been drawn to this topic of CALLING to an extent that I thought it’s the only subject that I needed to learn. It has changed my way of viewing the calling in the life of a christian. I have been reading and listening to the videos manytimes a day. I believe the selecter decided on this topic because of its significance. I love this topic it has opened my hearing to know my calling and I am able now to teach in my congregation about calling and how it should be given prerioty.
Our calling is different just the way God designed it. It’s unique in it’s form.

I have gained knowledge in all the lessons I learned from this course. I have learned knowledge on how to handle ministry, how to hear call from God, how to take the gospel across different cultures etc

Through this course I have learnt to always purse the call of God for my life, always, as God’s call is always progressive. I should always be sensitive to His voice. This has greatly impacted my ministry and am so grateful to God for this.

I am privileged to know how God speaks in different other than audible voice , dreams and through person as it is stated in book of job, through this course i learnt that God can affect the mind as a way of communicating, and can use the circumstances around us, and also a gift to make a godly impact in ministry there must be a call.

This course reminded me that Jesus also responded to God’s call by coming to offer himself at the cross of Calvary to pull me out of the mire of sin. not only me but all who believe in his perfect work.
On the mission field one comes across all the cases that have been mentioned. And I was impressed with the statistics

For all courses I have learned many issues to my life which are type of leadership to the church , many churches are don’t stable because of dictatorship leadership , founders of the churches most of them they don’t want any member to the church to ask on money and other resources ,pastors are considering that the property of the church are their family properties.
Also to many churches the administration structure are not available a pastor is a leader of everything.
Not only that but also many of leaders are not depending God to their ruling their ruling as their selves and not the power of God and the fainaly the church fail.
Suggestion.
Leaders must use democracy to rule their churches and being responsible to the Christianity
Second all readers must be the good example of manners to the society and not to be bad behavior to the society
Third.Pray the lord before doing any thing to your life .

I learnt that there is more to our spiritual attitude in response to the call of God that dictates the success of the Great Mission of Our LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST., It all starts with obedience to the call of GOD and commitment to Ministry work which helps us grow and understand how to execute on our specific calls. We are tasked to make disciples through mentorship. The aspect of hearing from GOD is vital since it helps us align with his plan under the anointing and developed ability to fulfilment of our dreams in ministry work. Finally the great mission is meant for all Christian to reach to communities for the Kingdom of God to grow.

For me this course has been an eye opener to know that to whatever ministry I am called it is all about God not me. That hearing God demands that all other noises around me be silenced. This gives me a new dimension in my walk with the Lord

Everyone jus heard and response our calling to God

Anointing, ability and heart- got to me. Then, how to hear God’s voice. I had to step away from this study a few times to apply what I was learning in my spiritual disciplines, study, waiting, praying for others. Setting aside quality time to reflect on God’s leading to ‘Go’ and make disciples. A very enriching unit. I feel so blessed to hear the Word, teaching, and to be prayed for. Thank you Kay. Thank you to Regan, Kay and Dr Brendan for valuable teaching and for your wisdom. Praising God for your continued obedience to His calling.

I thank God for the units covered, indeed what has been taught is a great blessing to me. Most of the things I thought they don’t matter have a deep implication into my walk as a Christian.
