My attention was drown to carefully study this part of the teaching as different lecturers took me through. I have learn how to hear from god. I once thought that God is so selective in speaking to men. But now I know that God is speaking to me as well. I only need to build a relationship with him and through experience I will learn to master His voice. I have also learned that I have a call to work towards making the bigger picture of God's will globally. The anointing, the gifts and the heart of man must be cultivated and aligned together in service in order to minister effectively within our area of call

In this course on God's call your response. I have learned that the call of God in our lives can be in extraordinary ways, but it can be discerned quietly and it is an invitation for partnership. I also comprehend more about the general and specific calls which involve more personal discipleship, evangelism, and worship for the general call as the specific call does not come with a complete set of detailed instructions to us. I also now know that community-based ministry specifically in the area of social responsibility is in the Bible when I read Isaiah 58:6-7 and Isaiah 61 which speaks clearly about " proclaiming the good news to the poor and proclaim freedom to the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind and set the free the oppressed and the year of the Lord's favor. The community-based ministry where we neglected the hungry, thirsty, Nakedness, homeless, sick, and displaced persons, and I am thankful for this session because I was able to discover that these are ministries that need our attention very much, and I would ask my brethren to not neglect rather prioritized them in our different ministries. I also learn that community-based ministry gives us the ability to meet physical and spiritual needs. On hearing God's call, I understand that God does not speak to everyone in the same way but rather in ways we can understand and we need to listen attentively as we walk with the Lord. This will help us recognize the various ways He speaks to us. The danger however comes when we are so deep into the world and neglect to spend time in prayer and meditation that the result will be to block us not to develop a familiarity with God's voice and this makes us disoriented to Him and not hear Him. Thank you for the opportunity.

I am Jorgelyn C. Elechicon from General Santos City, Philippines. I am so blessed for being accepted in this course because this helped me to understand what calling is, and it helped me identify what area God has specifically called me, aside from responding to the general calling. In this unit, I understand that it is not enough that I know my calling but I should put my hands, heart and head in it and it must be in alignment with the plan of God for His kingdom. I must not think of myself only but I must be doing things that fit in the bigger picture of what God wants to do on earth. Before I took this course, I really did not know my specific calling. I was quite confused about my calling and I have no idea how to know it. But now, I thank God because I know already what my calling is. I believe I am ready to be part of God’s worker in building God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Although I did not finish the course on time as I originally planned it because of internet problem sometimes, still I am very satisfied of what I learned. I thank all my instructors in each topic for their very clear and articulate explanation. I pray that God will bless you more as you continue shaping leaders and workers for God’s kingdom. During My Study of the Call, I realized that God is still speaking to us and its important to hear and recognize His voice. God wants us to communicate with Him through worship, prayer etc. since in any relationship communication is key. He can speak through Angels, Visions, Dreams, Miracles, Prophets even scriptures. So its upon us to recognize His voice when he speaks and this i learnt that i can recognize His voice over time, Because there are three sources of information that is the 1. Divine 2. Demonic 3. Self/Others So we need to have that desire and willingness to obey.

God speaks in so many ways, he does not speak the same way to every one. Job 33:14-16 reminds us that he speaks in one way or another, he speaks in dreams,visions ,in deep sleep. sometimes we perceive sometimes we don't. We need to walk with him and listen attentively in order for us to to recognize his voice. We should learn how to hear, recognize and obey his voice and learn scriptures.

Amen my response to God's call I responded on the call by not waiting I said yes to God Here I am use me to do God's will.I remember when I was still outside in the world far from God I was drinking alcohol smoking.I had a dream a Gospel song playing a very nice song I loved are you not scared of me surrender all the world things come to me.The following day I went to a shop to by a evangelism challenge me to come to the and pray for me yes I went to church I found out this is the place I must be. I am no 16years in the house of God Alcohol smoking free I dont drink smoking God rescued me Amen

The course started with Regan Perry explaining what a Call actually meant. I learnt the meaning of Ministry,it's types, functions and Biblical examples. Dr. Brendan Roach talked about the Ministry Zone from which I got great insight from his teaching on the Sower ( Anointing,Heart, Abilities). I learnt how to hear the voice of God from Kay Dohle. Then Kingdom Perspective where I learnt "Ubuntu" which is the true meaning of the type of kingdom God has in mind. My life is gradually changing in the positive direction by what I have learned so far in the College. A big thanks to you all. God bless you in Jesus name.

I have discovered anointing in my life and how it works. I now know the abilities i have in me through the knowledge that i received here at Axx bible college. I love doing what am called for. I now differentiate between my voice, satan's voice and the voice of the holy spirit. I now able to recognize the voice of God and i know the more you read and study the word of God you can hear him speaking to you. I want to thank all the lectures that taught me so far am revived and equipped for ministry.

In the studies of God's call your response, I learnt about hearing the voice of God. I learnt that God is speaking and for me to hear his voice I have to listen to him and avoid the things of the world. God by his very nature wants relationships with us and these relationships require communication. God often communicates with us and the question most important is whether we are listening or not. God has been speaking to his people right from the beginning in many different ways and his people knew him and understood him. To understand God's voice, I learnt that I learnt that I should have the desire to hear and willingness to obey. We need faith that he will speak to us. We need to have the desire to hear from God. There are three voices in our lives: ourselves, God and the demon. God has a quite ,calm, steady sound with authority. God's voice will always be in line with his written word. God speaks to our spirit to obey and like sheep we should learn to recognize our shepherd's voice over time and that is by experience. Finally to hear God's voice we have to be still, listen ,desire to hear, recognize how God speaks, develop sensitivity to his presence and involve God in all you do. We also need to spend time in prayer, fasting, reading the scripture and speaking in tongues.
