Thank you so much axx Bible college. In the beginning of the course I thought I don’t made right decision for choosing the course, but finally I made right decision. Because I was doubtful on my procedures but I came to realize steps taken during days back are right procedures, the same like the one I got here with axx Bible college. Only that it was not done in river Jordan.
I found this course very thought provoking. I was, as many bought up in traditional churches, baptised as a baby. As I have begun my own personal journey with God, I have been drawn to learn more, dig deeper into the teachings and the journey through Jesus to salvation. I have a strong desire to dedicate myself as an adult, and have given my life to Jesus, recognising Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I will seek baptism as an adult now, as it has such a special meaning to me, to be able to undertake this by my own volition.
The first time I have accepted Christ as my God and my Savior was 30 years ago. It was a really huge experience for me at the time, all different sorts of overwhelming emotions came flooding in all directions, emotions so mixed i could not tell which is which. It felt as if my body is carrying a very heavy load.
After coming out of the water, everything just felt so light. It’s as if everything that was weighing me down was left in the water. putting what i was feeling at that moment into words, it would be a “calm joy”.
Praise God for this program, it has, and will help more new Believers to understand the meaning of Baptism.
I have been hungry to be baptized thinking that my salvation will begin when I’m baptized. This course has helped me to know the significance of baptism. Baptism is righteousness, obidience to Christ and I didn’t have that insight. Now I’m eager to be baptized as my step in discipleship and I’m also confident that I’m already saved by grace and baptism will be the first graphical or practical demonstration of what is happening or has happened in my spirit
I have learned that child dedication it is a time when through prayer the parents dedicate their children to God. For an infant or a very young child, the ceremony of a child dedication is more appropriate than baptism. Infant baptism christening and baptisms are the same ceremony by a different name. That starting point was the high rate of infant mortality.

Do you know the first book in the Bible and the first sentence in that book. Yes, it is [In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)] Do you truly believe this? If you do so, then there is nothing impossible to believe in the Bible.
I met Jesus and became a born-again Christian when I was a college student. I grew up in South Korea. When I was a young boy, I remember going to church a few times with friends to get Christmas presents. But I never went to Church regularly, never thought about God and never prayed on my own. I went to a college to major in pre-med, but I was spending all the time chasing girls, partying, and drinking. I thought somehow these things would fill some emptiness and insignificance I had inside me. I had a girlfriend and she got pregnant. Without any hesitation, we decided to abort the baby. At that time in Korea, any doctor would perform an abortion. I didn’t feel any guilt at that time, but later in my life I discovered that that incident caused me so much pain and emotional destruction and unbearable guilty feeling. Soon my life became so miserable that I could not keep up the school work and I had to repeat all my classes after the first year. Eventually I was kicked out of the school. My girlfriend left me. At that time my father retired without any money and my mother had to work as a housekeeper to support the family and we lived in a temporary house built on the top of a building. I felt like going down to a bottomless pit. It was the most miserable and unbearable moment in my life. I had no hope, no friends, and no money. I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I hated myself, everyone and the whole world. I tried to kill myself but failed. I found a job as a restaurant manager and worked for about a year, but I could not continue because of ongoing drinking problem.
Don’t ask what the meaning of life is. It is you who give the meaning to your life. What is important is not what you do or what you have but who you are, who you belong to. As long as you belong to Christ and you work for him, every moment of your life is full of meaning.
Let’s pray,
Father, we thank you for giving us Jesus as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Please bless each one of your precious souls who belong to Christ. Let them come to you freely and joyfully and enjoy the riches and the power of the life of Jesus Christ and let them share the life of Christ you have given them with others through their vocation. Let them discover and respond to your calling to a vocation through which they serve others so that you can be glorified. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior.
I did not knew that there were soo much version on his matter of baptism and I gained a lot of insight on this matter. I wish that my children and off springs will learn a lot on this matter and this will benefit the coming generations and the word of our Lord savior will live in our hearts forever, also it will guide us and build the communities and the society as a whole.

These are the points which I have derived from the lesson;
1. Baptism is by immersion as exemplified by Jesus Christ -Matthew 3:13-17
2. Baptism should be given to those who believe in Jesus Christ-Mark 16:16
3. Then since Baptism is for the believing sinners,infant Baptism is not biblical

This is the best teaching ever to me on baptism, thanks alot Axx bible college and more so lecturer Brendan Roach. All my questions about baptism are answered i have known what is baptism and i have learnt that baptism is only done once no need to be baptised again since we have one Lord one faith one baptism. I have now known who should baptize me, a disciple should baptisze a disciple and a disciple can baptize a believer, i have learned alot be blessed in Jesus name Amen
I am reminded about how I struggled with the thoughts of taking another baptism because I had fallen into sin and I thought I was no longer a believer. My pastor then told me it was not necessary. Today Dr has made it clear that we need only a one time baptism since Christ died for us once for all. I will be using some of this thoughts in preparing our candidates for water Babism but also teaching the whole church about this.
I was also blessed to understand the genesis of water sprinkling. But also happy to note that many believers are trying to sort out the problem of lack of enough water. In Karamoja region in Uganda which is a semi-arid area, sometimes they just our water from a bucket on the person being baptised. We need to here more from other areas to as we try to do baptism the right way – by imersion. Thank you

In my youthhood, I struggled a lot searching for the true worship of God. I then heard God’s word through the preaching in 2001. I confessed of my sins and believed God through Christ as my personal savior. I was then baptized in the running water through immersion by our church pastor as a declaration of my faith. I continued fellowshipping with other believers to grow in the faith.
I felt so transformed having undergone such an experience in my life.

I would like to testify what I have learned on the course of water baptism.
I am very excited to be part of AXX BIBLE COLLEGE and I am really enjoying the courses particularly the Course of Water baptism.
I have learned a lot as I stated learning this morning and I have been encouraged as a pastor how important the baptism of water is.
For is the starting point of being a Disciple of Jesus.
The evidence of the genuine repentance.
I have learned that everyone can baptize as long as he is the disciple of Jesus Christ.

First of all in December 2019, when the outbreak of corona started in China, I became very ill before the actual corona was in Europe.
This also has been a very difficult time for about a year, since I had a near death experience and was bedridden for almost a year.
I was of a different religion, and started praying to Yeshua, and He heard my prayer that particular night.
I feel blessed by Him being besides me, and since then my life had gone upward.
When I became better after that year of being in bed, I wanted to do the full immersion Baptism.
But corona was still there, and God told me several times I had to go for it, and now I am preparing to get Baptised.
And hope it to be this year! Actually 9th of April I hope to do it, so I hope to receive God’s blessings.
I just want to do this Mikveh for not just salvation, but I want to have the seal of life given by the Lord’s grace.
I want to thank the Axx Bible college with this topic of Baptism, I learn a lot, eg : when you are Baptised that shows you’re a follower or a Disciple of Jesus Christ, and you must understand the meaning of why are you Baptised not to please people, family members, pastors etc.
I have been baptised in 2008, serving our Lord Jesus Christ for 29 years now since i had an encounter with Jesus age 11.
This is truly one of the Best teachings on Baptism.

I planned to do baptism on 7-11 ( July 11 )which is a very important day for me. 7-11 is the day that I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour
a year ago I turned my life to believing and choosing to follow Jesus.

Oh, I am lost for words. Being a young Pastor in training, and our church having communion every first Sunday of the month; this has really opened my eyes spiritually of what it is all about and my understanding of scriptures has broadened. I love how different scriptures, so many that one might think can not be used as prayer point during communion; but they carry so much weight.
I can now confidently use different scriptures in communion. This is so helpful. Thank you.
I can say that the Lord led me to this site. We will be having baptism in my church in about two months. These lessons really opened my eyes to what it really means to be baptised.

I have already been baptised many years ago , I have used this course as a reminder of what the responsibility I have to encourage the steps of faith . baptism to me was a contInuation of my commitment to follow Jesus . I remember my baptism well the service was a gospel call to salvation .
I’ve been preparing for my baptism tomorrow this whole week, I am super excited for my public declaration of my new association, and declaring my covenant with Jesus, I was however nervous on testifying, not because I have nothing to testify about, believe me I have tons, I felt that I couldn’t write anything down, that the holy spirit would have have to lead me, this I still believe, but I felt like writing it down felt like a cheat sheet of sorts, I’ve watched your teachings and now know I can write down and meditate and pray on what I will say, it’s taken the nerves away slightly, I want to enjoy this and appreciate the privilege, not be worried about talking, thank you axx, for making these teachings publicly available, I now know that I am who God says I am, and that I’m ready for baptism
I personally thought that it was a excellent presentation on baptism and it certainly was appropriate and it covered all the necessary point with clarity as well as scripture and verse to support it, so overall great material to kick start one’s personal relationship with Christ.
The course was very informative providing all that a person requires about baptism. Enjoyed seeing where baptisms took place and the other places of interest. Before participating in this course I had already been baptised and know of the amazing experience of when you come up out of the water, you are different- a new creation Praise God
I have been a subject of the Lord Jesus for 35 years and was baptized back then. In the last few years I have had people asking me to baptize them. I decided to do this course because I wanted to make sure when it happens again that I will be fully prepared to help these brothers and sisters. This program did not so much teach me a new thing but it definitely put everything together in a simple and concise way easy to learn. I got a lot from it and I will promote this to people who ask me for baptism in the future. While doing this in a parent church environment is best there are a lot of people I interact with who want to experience Christ before committing to a big fellowship. This will help us (wife Regi and I) to help them and the goal is to help them make the move to Riverland Central our wonderful local church. Thank you.
